Birmingham, Michigan – September 24, 2024 – Angle Advisors announced today that Scott Simon has joined the firm as a Managing Director.
Scott Simon joins Angle Advisors with over 20 years of investment banking and public company executive experience. In his career as a principal and an advisor, Mr. Simon has led over 50 transactions spanning acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, restructurings and financings. These transactions encompass several industries including electrical equipment, automotive, paper/packaging, machinery, capital goods, industrial technology and fire and security services.

Mr. Simon’s public company executive experience includes serving as VP, Corporate Finance for Vontier overseeing the corporate development, treasury and FP&A functions as well as VP, Corporate Development Officer for Johnson Controls as it rapidly transformed its portfolio. Prior to joining Johnson Controls, he had a twelve-year career in investment banking as a Managing Director at both PJT Partners and The Blackstone Group serving corporate and private equity clients. He began his career as an analyst at the General Motors New York Treasurer’s Office.
Mr. Simon holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
